Meet the Founder,

Kellie.

"Modern Hippie came about as the result of many years of searching for and researching products that were honestly pure, natural and actually worked well.

I first began my natural product journey mid teens in an effort to heal 

allergies and eczema that I had been dealing with since childhood. 

After adjusting my diet to remove processed food and chemicals my beauty and personal care products were next on the list.

By clearing the toxic chemicals out of my food and personal care products I was able to completely clear my skin condition, improve my allergies and overall health. I saw first hand the benefits of removing all the toxic chemicals and crap from my life!

In my efforts to find natural and affordable skin, hair and body care products, I noticed that so many of them were completely overpriced and not actually 100% natural when inspected closely, just cleverly marketed.

I also started to notice how often consumers were being tricked such as when a "natural" insect repellant claims "natural active ingredient" but all of the other ingredients are far from natural or in the case of "natural fragrances" which are actually toxic lab made chemicals. All of this inspired me to create Modern Hippie.

I set myself the task of creating a product line that was pure, honest and affordable. Our Ethos is Kindness! Kindness to Animals, People and our Planet.

 Using high quality ingredients that are actually natural and work well, we have no need for trickery, clever marketing or greenwashing.  Our packaging is also eco-conscious, fully recyclable and plastic free.
